Flow Technology Dominant Supplier In Subsea/Topside Flow Measurement Applications
Based on the growth of its business in a host of demanding subsea/topside flow applications, Flow Technology has gained recognition as the industrys leading supplier of precision flow measurement solutions for the offshore oil and gas market. A number of major petroleum companies have recently selected Flow Technology products for use in areas such as Methanol injection and subsea valve actuation.
In reporting the upswing in the companys oil and gas business, Flow Technology National Sales Manager Jennifer Keith said, “By all indications, Flow Technology is now the preferred choice in applications that are critical to maintaining production from offshore oil wells. Flow Technology has introduced several new products specifically intended for use in offshore exploration and production. These include the “High Shock” turbine flow meter, which provides improved reliability and performance when dealing with high line pressures, hydraulic shock loads and other extreme conditions; and the BL Series, a high-pressure, stainless steel, “boltless” positive displacement flow meter suited for the subsea environment.
