Flow Technology Announces New Flow Meter Service & Repair Center
TEMPE, Ariz. — Flow Technology, Inc. (FTI), a leading manufacturer of precision flow measurement instruments, systems and calibrators, today announced the opening of its new flow meter calibration, service & repair center. This state-of-the-art facility is equipped with one of the industry’s largest selections of primary standard flow calibrators. Flow Technology’s service and repair center, located at the company w headquarters in Tempe, Ariz., can calibrate almost all types of industrial flow measurement devices, including turbine, coriolis, positive displacement and variable area meters. A variety of calibration procedures can be performed, including Reynolds Number and Universal Viscosity Curve (UVC) calibrations.
All calibrations performed by Flow Technology are directly traceable to the National Institute of Standards & Technology (NIST) and comply with ANSI Z540 and ISO 9000 guidelines. Every meter calibration is accompanied by a standard or custom hard copy report, and a history file is maintained in compliance with U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA), ANSI and ISO equipment calibration requirements. Flow Technology’s Calibration Program Agreement provides a 10 working days turnaround service for calibrating flow meters and associated electronics that are within the facilitys calibration capability. Other manufacturers flow meters and their associated electronics can also be serviced within 10 working days provided parts are available. Trigas F.I., located in Munich, Germany, and Eagle Engineering Aerospace Co., LTD., located in Tokyo, Japan, can perform a wide range of flow meter calibration procedures.
