Process Control– Flow meter is used to provide information required to control a process. These applications are most commonly found within manufacturing facilities where the fluid to be measure is used as a part of the creation of the final product.
Oil and Gas – Flow meter used in measuring flow of liquids and gases involved in production and offshore oil exploration. For example, monitoring the flow of chemicals critical to maintaining production from offshore wells.
